**SECURITY DEFENCE AREA OPERATIONS MANAGER**

**About the Role**
We are seeking a full-time Area Operations Manager to manage a dynamic and diverse portfolio of Defence facilities in ACT, in support of the Regional Security Manager and our Mission to deliver outstanding service to Defence.

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Leading & monitoring contract compliance in line with contractual KPIs
- Participate in recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management
- Liaising with key stakeholders on matters of site performance, reporting, service delivery, operational reviews, and opportunities for improvement & innovation
- Providing accurate and timely information on performance, variances and accompanying action plans to Regional Security Manager
- Participate in the management of customer complaints, disputes, and issue resolution.

**To be considered for this position, you will have**:

- Business and commercial acumen
- Strong leadership and management skills
- The ability to generate innovative solutions to satisfy customer needs and deliver high levels of customer satisfaction
- The ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
- The ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and work with conflicting time constraints
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Broad knowledge in the security services industry is desirable across physical and electronic security sectors
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, in particular, MS Office and MS Excel
- Must hold or have the ability to obtain an NV1Security Clearance (Must be an Australian Citizen)
- A current Security Licence is required
