**KU Union Children’s Centre is **located on the edge of Sydney University, within walking distance from Redfern Station.**
Our service is a welcoming and nurturing space where each child is immersed in a rich tapestry of educationally interactive experiences - a space where children are supported to be their own, unique selves, growing and developing a sense of belonging and empowerment. We encourage children to laugh, think, question and learn. Their sense of self and confidence grows as they make connections with each other and build warm, trusting relationships with our team.
The KU casual pool is growing We are looking for educators who hold a **Certificate III **in Early Childhood Education **.**
With access to hours across our KU Services, free professional learning, coaching & mentoring, and sector leading pay rates, the possibilities at KU are endless.
**The Role**
We are looking for casual employees to undertake a variety of shifts, starting from 7am and finishing by 6pm Monday to Friday. You will support other educators in delivering a variety of educational programs for children up to 6 years old.
There are also a number of short-term support contracts available with guaranteed hours on a term-by-term basis. However, extension is highly possible.
**About You**
To be successful for the role you will have:
- Australian work rights
- Recognised Certificate III as approved by ACECQA
- Valid NSW Working with Children Check
- Training demonstrating current knowledge of Child Protection legislation
- COVID19 Vaccination Digital Certificate
