- **About the Role**_
As our Area Manager, you will work in partnership with the National Operations Manager, with your primary responsibility being to provide support and coaching to services and Centre Managers to ensure a high-quality service for children and families.
- **Role Objectives**:_
- Manage a portfolio of 6 services (3 in Sydney, 2 in Regional NSW, and 1 in Queensland)
- Identify areas of opportunity to improve operational effectiveness and efficiency
- Ensure that business performance goals are achieved, legislative, regulatory and all requirements for the National Quality Framework are met across all services
- Provide mentoring and guidance on the Early Years Learning Framework to Centre Managers to ensure staff are developing and delivering relevant programs that cater to all children
- Define the priorities and appropriate outcomes for the Early Learning team and your specific areas of accountability
- Communicate RISE and Business Stream strategies and plans to team members in engaging ways, fostering a One RISE way of operating
- Liaise with the Quality team to implement best practice and high-quality outcomes for children, families and teams
- Drive focus on safety, safeguarding, quality, and service.
- **Role Requirements**:_
- Minimum 2 years’ multi-site experience within an Early Childhood setting
- Experience in managing a budget and Key Performance Indicators
- Experience in managing and reviewing rosters
- Proven experience in having successfully turned around an underperforming service
- Knowledge of statutory Early Childhood regulations and A&R process
- Approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification from recognised University or a Diploma of Children’s Services from recognised Registered Training Organisation
- Valid Working with Children Check and current driver’s license
- **Must be flexible and prepared to travel from site to site and interstate, often on short notice, to provide support to each of the services as required**. Must be willing to work from our North Sydney office when not on site. There will be opportunities to work from home at times as well.
