**Casual Swimming Coach**

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities? Do you love swimming and want to share that joy with others? Look no further

**Sporting Wheelies, in partnership with QUT, is excited to launch the Adaptive Aquatics Program, an inclusive initiative designed to help individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities learn and enhance their swimming skills.**

We are on a mission to create Queensland's largest Inclusive Adaptive Aquatics program, offering private and group lessons for all skill levels—from beginners to aspiring competitive swimmers.

This is a casual position for 8 weeks of each school term, and hours are not entirely predictable and may change on a weekly basis.

2-3 hour shift on Fridays (between 8.30am and 2.30pm)
2-3 hour shift on Saturdays (between 8am and 12pm).
As the program grows, we expect to be able to offer more days and additional hours.

**What You'll Do**:

- Coach swimmers of all ages and abilities, providing high-quality, safe lessons at the QUT Gardens Point Campus Indoor Swimming Pool.
- Prepare for classes by ensuring equipment is ready and the environment is welcoming.
- Contribute to the planning and coordination of our swim programs.
- Support athletes in developing their aquatic skills and fostering a lifelong love for swimming.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Austswim or Swim Australia Accreditation
- First Aid Certificate
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- Previous coaching experience, particularly with individuals with disabilities
- Experience in community environments or coaching at university/community facilities
