Medical Matters are looking to recruit a part-time experienced medical receptionist to work two or three days a week.

We are a mixed-billing practice and we opened our doors in the Murrumba Downs shopping centre in January 2017. We have over 10,000 active patients on our books serviced by 4 doctors and 2 nurses.

Competitive salary offered depending on experience levels.

**MAIN JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Greet and register patients
- Assist patients to complete all necessary forms and documentation
- Document patient information in a clinically effective manner that conforms to legal requirements and practice policy including billing information
- Inform patients of medical office procedures and policy
- Maintain and manage patient records
- Move patients through appointments as scheduled
- Answer incoming calls and deal with inquiries
- Transfer calls as required
- Schedule patient appointments
- Obtain external medical reports as required by medical professionals
- Liaise with WorkCover to ensure patient claims / billings are processed.
- Respond and comply to requests for information
- Deal with incoming and outgoing post
- Maintain stock of forms and office supplies
- Ensure reception area is well maintained, neat and clean
- Safeguard patient privacy and confidentiality
- Manage recall and reminder systems
