**About the role**

We are offering an opportunity for the right Support Worker to work with a male participant in Kellyville. You must have a genuine care and interest for people with disability. You will need to be relible and understanding of a familiy's role in the care of their loved one. Please note this is a community position not in a group home setting.

Our participant is non verbal and requires support with personal care. People who are currently completing a nursing/medical degree are strongly encouraged to apply.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Providing personal care
- Monitoring participant with medical conditions
- Track and document an individual’s progress through detailed note keeping

**Skills & Experience**
- Current Australian Drivers Licence or ability to get to location
- Currently undertaking a nursing or medical degree
- A genuine care and interest in supporting people with disability
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with the participant and his family.
- Experiance or willingness to learn personal care tasks

**Male support workers strongly encouraged to apply.**

Please note: Mandatory COVID-19 vaccinations are required for this position, in accordance with relevant Public Health Orders. Evidance will be requested.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $32.00 - $43.00 per hour

- Flexible hours

- Campbelltown NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (required)
- Driver Licence (required)
