**About the role**

Reporting through to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all employees across the state are paid in an accurate and timely manner.
- Process the fortnightly payroll in accordance with the relevant CAs, Awards and Individual contracts
- Interpretation of awards and enterprise agreements
- Ensure all payroll and employee files are kept up to date with documentation
- Converse with the relevant authorities to ensure all payroll legislative paper is lodged
- Ensure payroll databases are well maintained and up to date
- Payroll reporting and statutory requirements are successfully managed
- Preparation of all Workcover Insurance claims.

**Who are we looking for?**
- Excellent computer skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to be discreet
- Time management and the ability to work unsupervised
- Sound working knowledge of current payroll & industrial relations (including Award interpretation)
- Exposure to Time and Attendance software
- Good organisational skills.

This is a full-time time, permanent position, working 38 hours per week at the Wacol Animal Care Campus. Remuneration is commensurate with skills, qualifications and experience.
