About the role

This is a rewarding, hands on role that will give you the opportunity to positively impact on the lives of our residents. Personal Care Workers work within the aged care team to promote the delivery of quality care to residents and their families, demonstrating competence in the provision of resident-centred care. Located in the heart of Hunter Valley wine country, Calvary Cessnock Retirement Community offers quality care accommodation to 296 residents across two Residential Care sites; Bimbadeen and Nulkaba.

What you bring

Certificate III Aged Care or Individual Support is essential
Previous experience in the aged care sector (desirable)
Effective interpersonal communication; both written and verbal
Working knowledge of WHS and Infection Control
A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
