**Energex **have a **permanent **opportunity for a **Distribution Design Technical Officer **to join our **Design and Delivery Standards Group **within the **Operations **division based in **Brisbane (Greenslopes).**

**About your new role
As a Distribution Design Technical Officer, you will be responsible for the delivery of comprehensive design, estimating and works co-ordination across a broad range of complex design skills in accordance with current standards to meet quality, cost, and time targets. This position provides leadership, mentoring and technical direction for their workgroup.

**About you**:
Critical to your success in the role is your:

- Advanced Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification is essential.
- Certificate IV or Diploma (Cert V) in Electrical Supply Industry or equivalent qualification.
- Certificate IV in Trainer & Assessor and/or Certificate IV in Frontline Management or equivalent experience is desirable.
- Extensive knowledge of distribution and sub-transmission lines design and associated standards.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work as part of a team and provide training, coaching and technical support to individuals and teams.
