The role requires the strength and leadership of an experienced Event Operations Manager who relishes an ever-changing environment.
**What Will Set You Apart**
- Prior experience in coordinating weddings and events
- Function management experience with a minimum of 1-2 years in the function management/hospitality industry
- Excellent customer service skills with charismatic ability to influence and negotiate successfully
- Strong focus on guest satisfaction and going above and beyond
- A very high standard of communication skills, presentation and attention to detail
- Extremely high levels of organisation and management
- Proven ability to work both independently and in a growing team
- Have the flexibility to work a 5-day roster, including nights and weekends
**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Day to day operations in respect to all weddings, conferences, events, functions and meetings
- Working with our Sales & Events team to assist with the planning, coordinating and execution of a variety of functions
- Liaise, support and effectively communicate with other departments within the group including venue managers, executive chef and floor staff
- Ensure all events run smoothly with consistent high standards
- Managing and coordinating staff leading up to and during event or function
- Build relationships with clients and understand their needs and requirements for a successful function/event
- This is a role highly dependent on wedding experience, especially coming into the wedding season
