Early Childhood Educator

Learning Links are looking for an Early Childhood Educator Diploma to work in our Exceeding-Rated Preschool. This role will demonstrate a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service to clients and staff including, sharing skills and knowledge, responding positively to changing demands/priorities and communicating ongoing client information to the Preschool leadership team.

We operate from **8am-4pm** during school terms and provide a high-quality inclusive early childhood program catering for the individual needs of all children from **3 to 6 years** and their families.

This role is a **permanent part time role (working Monday and Tuesday)** and will work closely with our Preschool Director, Preschool staff, therapists and broader organisational stakeholders.

**Day to day responsibilities will include**:

- Developing caring and nurturing relationships with children that reflect their interests and a strengths-based practice.
- Facilitating group time and activities and ensuring rooms and resources are set up and ready to go.
- Writing observations and communicating daily updates to families to keep them invested and involved.
- Supporting families with resources and strategies for learning.
- Using your strong working knowledge of the National Quality Standards, including the EYLF.
- Using exceptional communication skills to connect with and collaborate within the team and suggest improvements.
- Constantly reflecting on and enhancing our inclusive practice
- Attend 4 staff meeting a term after hours

**About you**
- ACECQA approved Diploma qualification (or studying towards diploma qualification).
- Experience working in an early childhood education setting.
- Understanding of current early education and care legislation and regulations including the EYLF and NQS.
- Current ACECQA approved first aid, CPR, anaphylaxis, and asthma certificates.
- Current ACECQA approved Child Protection training.
- Ability to undertake the physical requirements of the role.
- WWCC clearance.
- NDIS Screener check clearance
- Commitment to working in partnership with families and other professionals
