**The Role**

Are you looking for a new role where you can be at the forefront of our ever-evolving renewable energy technologies?

We are looking for a dynamic individual who will oversee the management of the Commissioning function within the Engineering & Design Functional Support Team.

You will be involved in many aspects including but not limited to running day-to-day operations of the Commissioning Team, planning, and overseeing commissioning activities, development, and change of projects.

As the Commissioning Manager you will direct the formulation of commissioning strategies, policies, and plans coupled with the ability to provide consultation and advice on electrical methods and procedures to ensure all work is completed to a high standard, within budget and on-schedule.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Run the day to day Operations of the Commissioning Team
- Oversight and supervision of the workshop and onsite commissioning works
- Keep abreast in planning strategies to achieve project completion with available resources
- Interact and negotiate with clients on commissioning goals and guidelines
- Assist and guide project staff in outlining commission responsibilities
- Implement and update commissioning documentation
- Participate actively in diverse operational aspects of project commissioning
- Oversee order and procurement of the required systems
- Assess and delegate resolution of issues
- Contribute views on designs, constructions, proposals
- Recruit, train, inspire and manage commissioning staff
- Foster a workforce culture of excellence, innovation, honesty and teamwork

**About You**:

- Highly developed people management skills with an ability to communicate at all levels
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Excellent time management skills, conflict resolution skills and confidence dealing with a wide range of people, from tradespeople to customers/stakeholders and supervisors
- Demonstrated strong project supervision skills in addition to knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations and protocols with regard to construction, building and health and safety
- Strong technical background
- Skilled in the organisation and management of employees coupled with the ability to perform administrative tasks
- Understanding of ISO standards and HSE requirement

**This role will be Perth based with ad hoc travel.**
