Commissioning Manager - Contract - Energy from Waste - Perth
Are you an experienced Commissioning Manager looking for a new Australian based contractor? We have an exciting opening with our client, a leading global environmental solutions supplier, for their current Perth based Energy from Waste plant project.
As the Commissioning Manager for this role, you should have solid expertise in commissioning works within the Waste to Energy industry.
**Commissioning Manager Responsibilities**:
Perform the commissioning works according to the procedures described in the Plant’s Commissioning Manual.
Pre-commissioning (mechanical & electrical check).
Cold commissioning (dynamic testing and operation of equipment).
Hot commissioning (refractory curing, boiler boiling, steam blasting and operation with waste up to 100% load).
Performance testing (acceptance trial run).
Keeping the Manual’s commissioning sheets and lists up to date.
Execute and/or assist the testing procedures during the pre
- and cold commissioning phase.
Execute and/or assist the plant operation during the hot commissioning phase.
Report on a continuous basis to the Project Manager and local site team
Provide input for continuous improvement of KSBE standards, methods and documents.
**About you**:
Technical degree or equivalent experience
5 years’ experience in waste to energy commissioning activities
Proven field experience as lead commissioning engineer
Experience with combustion processes, steam boiler and circuit, flue gas cleaning.
