Defence Architectural Lead

We are looking for a Defence Architectural Lead to join our dynamic design team with a vision to grow our established defence architectural reputation working on local, national, and international projects.

**Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in**:

- Promoting GHDWoodhead’s design reputation in the state and national defence market by reinforcing a focus on design within the team and providing intelligent and innovative design solutions for defence projects
- Leading the design, development, management, and delivery of defence building and infrastructure projects within the architecture business group.
Working collaboratively, lead and support a multi-disciplinary technical design team within the broader GHD Defence sector.
- Development and maintenance of client relationships.
- Participating as a key member in the leadership team of the GHD Defence sector.

**What you will bring to the team**
- Minimum 10+ years’ Architectural design experience, across a range of projects including Defence.
- Exceptional design skills, design management experience and project leadership experience for multidisciplinary Defence projects.
- Experience delivering design projects for Department of Defence, Defence Prime contractors and/or Commonwealth Government facilities.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and proven ability to successfully manage project teams.
- Demonstrated experience working in a team leadership position.
- Australia Citizen and holds (or eligible for) Baseline security clearance.
