**Job Description** Responsibilities**:

- Work effectively as part of a cost management team, to ensure that all deliverables are met.
- To perform cost planning and cost estimating duties.
- Measurement of quantities based on design drawings.
- Responsible for pre contract cost planning services during design stages of projects.
- To prepare post contract progress claim and variation assessments and cost reporting.
- To engage with the local property market to gain market knowledge for use in the delivery of our services.
- Commission management to assist in the successful delivery of our services.
- Integrate with full cost management and project management teams in Queensland and support when required.
- Able to demonstrate business development skills.

**Qualifications**
- A recognised Degree Qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management desired.
- MAIQS / MRICS certification advantageous.
- Consultancy environment work experience desirable.
- Proficient in the use of CostX.
- Ability to demonstrate attention to detail.
- Strong time management skills, quick thinking and resilience to deal with a fast paced environment.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English with excellent report and bid writing skills.
- Highly motivated and driven with a passion for delivering to your clients and have the ability to work independently.
