**This position will be responsible for making decisions related to efficiency of work processes and adaptations to changing priorities, while delivering outcomes in alignment with the team's objectives and maintaining safety.

This role requires making pragmatic and results-oriented decisions rather than strictly following inflexible processes. Specifically, the TOL:

- Establishes efficient ways of working to ensure effective delivery of outcomes.
- Oversees multiple initiatives, communicating clearly with stakeholders, escalating blockers, assisting with risk management, and driving improvements.
- Exercises flexibility in decision-making to adapt to changing priorities, with the goal of facilitating efficient delivery of priorities.

The organisation will rely on this position to:

- Provide direct support to workstreams.
- Drive team alignment with tangible value delivery and safe working environments above other concerns.
- Offer stakeholder engagement to deliver high-level advice and ensure departmental outcomes.
- Manage complex programs across multiple workstreams, coordinating teams to achieve strategic objectives and milestones efficiently.

It should be noted that while the TOL can make decisions or recommendations on tasks, processes, and procedures, certain constraints such as statutory timeframes cannot be shifted, and the TOL must determine how those timeframes can be met within the given parameters and direct the team accordingly.
