We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated **Male Disability Support Workers** to join the team at our Day Centre at Mansfield. This role is a 25+ hours a week, supporting participants to engage in life skills and leisure programs. The worker will also be required to provide some in home supports near Mansfield. This person may also need to travel to Wynnum to assist a person who comes to the day centre.

**Shifts Available**
- 7am - 5pm, Mon - Fri, all or some days.
- 3pm-6pm, Mon-Fri
- 3pm-8.30pm Thu

**What our clients are looking for**

**Must haves**
- An ability to bring your enthusiasm, positive attitude, creativity and interests to work, to engage and motivate people to join and participate in social and life skill activities.
- Drivers Licence and own vehicle. Sometimes you will be required to assist the person to attend activities in the community with you. Mileage allowance is paid
- Some experience working with Positive Behaviour Support Plans, Restrictive Practises or behaviours of concern.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check, current First Aid and CPR

In home duties may include
- Assisting people to participate in chosen their activities
- Meal preparation
- Shopping and social outings
- Assisting with personal care
- Medication administration
- Domestic assistance

Pay: $31.76 - $33.96 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 25 per week
