**About the School**:
Clontarf Beach State High School motto is 'Pride, Passion and Pathways' we are seeking an experienced Schools Officer who can display these characteristics in all that they do.

**Your Role**:
Reporting to the Business Manager, as the Schools Officer
- Grounds and Facilities, you will contribute to the efficient and effective operation and environment of the school by providing but not limited to;
- Achieve excellence in grounds care and maintenance, undertaking maintenance and repair to facilities
- Attention to detail, pride in your work environment and a positive outlook
- You will be able to work quickly and efficiently, use systems to manage your time, tasks and interruptions
- You will be able to undertake manual tasks and work safely in all weather conditions
- Follow set instructions; and have independence to perform a variety of day to day services that are routine in nature

The role will commence 4th October - 9th December

**A mandatory requirement of this role is**:

- OO3 appointees must have possession of a Certificate III qualification or higher relevant to the tasks outlined, from a recognised institution under the Australian Qualification Framework or agreed equivalent which, in the opinion of the Director-General, Department of Education or delegate is acceptable.
- When working in regulated employment an employee must have a current Working with Children Clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services.

- This is an OO2 progression position as per the Role Description. The successful applicant will be appointed to the OO2 classification with eligibility for progression to the OO3 level once specific criteria have been met.
