**About the role**:
We have a role available for an Accounts Receivable Officer to join our Finance Team; you will report directly to the Accounts Receivable Team Leader.

**Your key responsibilities will include**:

- Share a ledger of in excess of 1500 Accounts - Major and Minor accounts across both Australia and New Zealand
- Daily banking and processing of all debtor receipts, credit card payments/EFT
- Accurate allocation of all credit card, and direct deposits
- Processing and raising of credit notes and invoices when necessary
- Collection of overdue accounts
- Contacting clients regarding order issues
- Account Reconciliations
- Daily processing of credit card payments
- Dispute resolution
- Journal entries and coding
- Assist with month end responsibilities
- Build solid working relationships with your team as well as with internal and external stakeholders

**To succeed in this role, you will need to have**:

- Previous experience (2+ years) within Accounts Receivables maintaining a large debtor ledger
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Experience with large volume account reconciliations
- Ability to thrive in a high volume and fast paced environment
- Success in reducing outstanding debts
- Intermediate/Advanced EXCEL skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload to meet deadlines
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Problem Solving Skills
- Ability to work both in a team and autonomously
- High attention to detail, excellent time management skills and a proactive approach to customers
- Previous Retail Sector experience desirable but not essential
- AP21 experience desirable but not essential
