About the practice

Blossoming Kids is a private children’s mental health practice located in Ashmore, QLD. We are a small team offering Play Therapy and other therapies to children and their families, with a view to continue expanding. Our vision is to provide holistic mental health support to children, young people and their families in fun and engaging ways.

The role

The role is currently being offered as 8-14 hours per week, with flexibility regarding days/times worked and potential to increase hours. We are looking for an experienced, autonomous and highly organised receptionist/administration assistant, ideally with experience in allied health/medical. You will be the first point of contact for anyone contacting the practice, thus excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with a warm and welcoming nature.

Role responsibilities include:

- Reception duties
- Responding to inquiries & managing follow up calls
- Diary management - client bookings, cancellations & wait list
- Billing - EFTPOS payments, Medicare rebates and invoicing
- Ensuring information is correct in practice management software
- Filing
- Among others

Essential skills:

- Administration experience (minimum 1 year)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Presenting as warm and responsive during phone calls and in person
- Confidence interacting with young children
- Organised and ability to work independently
- Attention to detail
- Enthusiastic
- Fun We work with children and most of our work is play-based, we need someone who wants to join the fun

**Salary**: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
