**About the role**

We’re all about helping our members make the most of their money. And while they go after their goals, you can too. As an **Advice Assurance Specialist**, you’ll enable Financial Advisers to deliver quality personal advice through completing supervision and monitoring activities.

Day to day, you'll:

- Review and assess the personal advice prepared by new and existing Financial Advisers.
- Work with Advice Coaches, Team Leaders and other management to remediate identified advice quality matters in a timely manner.
- Review quality and compliance of personal advice prepared through the Online Advice channel.
- Raise issues/incidents identified and record findings in the Australian Retirement Trusts risk management tool (e.g. Archer).

**About you**

You're a dynamic professional with strong technical knowledge of financial products and advice strategies, coupled with a deep understanding of financial services legislation and regulatory requirements. Your expertise in the financial advice process, along with your ability to effectively plan, prioritise, and manage competing activities, will be crucial in meeting our business expectations. Excellent communication skills are a must, as you'll be engaging with key stakeholders regularly. Your investigative skills, risk-based decision-making, and strong numerical, verbal, and conceptual reasoning will set you apart.
- You have an advanced Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning) or equivalent tertiary qualification (essential).
- You have intermediate knowledge of financial planning software (e.g. Xplan/Midwinter).
- You're able to work autonomously with a high degree of initiative and motivation.
- You're currently on or recently been on the ASIC Financial Advice Register as a
Financial Planner (desirable).
