**About the role**

The Content & Communications Specialist will use content and communication strategy and expert knowledge to support teams across OUA - from writing persuasive marketing copy to creating intuitive microcopy and everything in between. This role is pivotal in the success of OUA’s content strategy and will support customer experiences in various channels across website, EDM, chat, social and paid media.

**Here’s what a normal day might look like for you**
- Producing content for the entire customer journey
- Understanding various audiences and segments and writing tailored content that meets their needs.
- Advising on content planning and production, contributing to concept development and key messages
- Developing supportive communications tools (such as matrices) to empower OUA employees and contractors to harness our tone of voice
- Using Sitecore CMS to build pages and create/update/test content

**Here are some ways you will bring your best to this role**
- Excellent writing skills for a variety of digital formats, as well as occasional print formats
- Demonstrated experience writing to web best practices, including usability and accessibility standards as part of a content marketing or content design capacity
- Previous experience implementing content strategy, and of advocating its importance
- Experience researching and writing for Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) to improve organic traffic
- Understanding of the role content plays in UX/UI and how to maximise the effectiveness of that content
- Experience working with a Content Management System (CMS); Sitecore is highly desirable
- Confidence adhering to, advocating for, and evolving a tone of voice guide for brand
