**THE POSITION**

The role will require you to work autonomously you will be required to report to the Production Manager daily. You will be working for a renowned Food and beverage manufacture based in Kingsgrove. Above award wage will be given to the experience staff who have worked in the industry prior.

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

- Weighing and measuring raw ingredients
- Processing, mixing and batching raw ingredients
- Loading Mixers
- Conducting quality checks
- Process work

**THE APPLICANT**

To be successful in this position you will have:

- A commitment to attend work full time every day and be a reliable worker.
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment
- Experience weighing, batch traceability, blending, bagging of product, taking samples for QC testing and GMP processes are followed including allergen control protocols
- Operate major machinery requiring advanced setup and operation skills
- GMP, HACCP and OH&S knowledge
- Available to work OT when and if required.
- Minimum of 2 Work Related References
- Minimum **2 years machine operator experience** in a food manufacturing or a similar environment
- Currently or have previously worked in a **mixing & blending role** or as a **senior operator**.
- **Being Punctual & **able to work **Mon-Fri, 6:00am-4pm is a must.**:

- Basic Computer skills and Problem-solving skills
- Physically fit and capable of lifting 5kg - 25kg bags.
- Complete Quality/HACCP/process checks paperwork as required.
- Forklift licence desirable but not essential
- Ability to communicate effectively with other employees.
- **Above award wage rate.**

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $29.25 per hour

Expected hours: 45 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Fixed shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
