Traffic Scheduler

Multiple infrastructure projects - Western Suburbs

**The Opportunity**

Reporting to the Traffic Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the planning/scheduling functions for the concurrent traffic team personnel, plant and equipment in the west region.

You will be responsible for the management and creation of detailed schedules that accurately reflect the upcoming planned roster of works, plans and specifications; monitoring and updating the works programs and providing guidance where necessary to the engineering staff in their programming requirements

**Traffic Admin Tasks**

Distribution of ROL and TGS trackers across WRDT projects

Tracking plant and equipment
- Managing any changes/issues with hired plant and equipment
- Communicating with site teams in regards to hiring required equipment
- Communicating with plant team to hire, manage and monitor plant and equipment
- Managing data from vehicle pre starts and audits

Allocations of all WRDT projects
- Communication with delivery partners to engage outsourced resources
- Communication with site teams regarding bookings
- Communications with traffic controllers regarding rostered allocation.
- Ensuring the correct information is sent out to the site teams for the works.
- Managing traffic control hours

Management and creation of spreadsheets for tracking and allocating as indicated above.

Out of hour’s phone calls for cancellation or changes to works on nights and weekends

Communication and Management of sub-contractors.

**What you will need**
- Demonstrated experience as a Planner with relevant hands on planning; Traffic Control experience desirable but not required.
- Expert in Excel (5 years+ experience)
- Expert computer skills
- Great technical/analytical skills, and the ability to provide sound specialist advice based on best practice and project conditions.
- Great time management, multitasking and communication skills
