**The Role**

An exciting opportunity is available for a Scheduler or Trainee Scheduler to join our team. Reporting to the Scheduling Manager, the primary responsibility of the role is to quantify all the materials and labour required to build each home.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

- Calculating and scheduling all quantities for homes across a variety of different building types including single storey, 2 storey, rural, multi-unit development jobs and semi-commercial tenders
- Raising purchase orders and sending to all relevant parties
- Assisting with supplier and Site Manager queries
- Verifying and approving extra to order (ETO) invoices
- Checking of other schedulers work

If your looking to kickstart your career in the building and construction industry, have a keen eye for detail and willing to learn, this is the role for you To be successful in this role, the following qualities and experiences will be considered favourably:

- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering working drawings and specifications (desirable)
- Residential building knowledge
- Good understanding of construction methods
- Good organisation and time management skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work within tight time constraints
- High level of communication skills both oral and written
- Excellent team player with a positive and self-motivated attitude
