We are seeking an
** experienced Health Safety and Workplace Advisor** for our client in
**Thomastown** you will be reporting to the

**National Safety Systems Manager and based in Thomastown.**

***

**Responsibilities will include **Developing and implementation of policies
**, **Develop and implement strategies to prevent and minimise workplace injuries, identify and undertake risk assessments, Promote safe practices, and Keep records of incidents & safety concerns.
- Perform Risk Assessments and Job Safety Analysis
- Coordinating and facilitating timely, expert WHS advice and assistance to managers/supervisors in managing WHS
- Monitoring of staff/Visitor/Contractor and Property/Security/Hazard incident reports to ensure that incidents/accidents are appropriately investigated.
- Providing WHS auditing services to ensure that the organisation is able to meet its auditing requirements.
- Ensuring that the organisation is aware of, and complies with, all legislation in relation to the use of its plant, equipment, and substances, as well as in all workplace activities.
- Investigating accidents and unsafe working conditions
- Conducting training sessions and Toolbox talks

**You will ideally have a good knowledge and some previous experience as a Safety Advisor in a similar **Fast-moving consumer goods manufacturing environment. You must have relevant qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety, the ability to work unsupervised all the while delivering projects on time. You will have Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with report writing skill utilising the Microsoft suite of programs.
