6 months Mat leave contract, permanent part-time 16/hrs/FTNT
- Provide support school leavers in Toowoomba

Based in Toowoomba, your purpose will be to provide a range of individual and/or group based employment supports to School Leaver Employment Supports (SLES) participants, that encourage and increase community engagement, economic participation and increased capacity to reach employment goals and aspirations.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Participate in developing and implementing individual and group based capacity building, job readiness and work experience supports
- Provide support and mentoring to participants that encourage a level of competence and independence with their employment and training goals
- Provide support to participants on personal development as per individual support needs
- Generate appropriate work experience opportunities for participants
- Provide on-site support during work experiences to increase understanding of workplace expectations and behaviours
- Maintain necessary records of service provision
- Undertakes other responsibilities as required

**Requirements for the role**:

- Interest to educate participants in increasing their capacity and employment readiness
- Experience in supporting and encouraging youth with disability support needs to achieve employment readiness and training goals.
- Ability to build relationships with local businesses for work experiences
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills
- Solid problem solving skills
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Current C Class driving license and local travel
- Ability to work autonomously and with initiative
- Willingness to obtain Blue and NDIS clearance
- Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate
