**About the role
New Road is a specialty coffee made by Allpress and sold and delivered by Asahi. Our New Road coffee ambassadors are newly created roles that will be on a mission to bring specialty-grade coffee to the whole of Australia. You will be the go-to person for New Road internally, both within Asahi and Allpress, and for New Road customers in your state.

This is a very varied role and will see you support a wide range of customers across barista training, phone-based and in-person technical support with coffee machines and grinders as well as overall account management support.

**A typical week might will cover:
- Supporting the Asahi Sales teams with sales, drop-in support and in person demos with prospective customers
- Onboarding new customers
- Key customer check ins
- Holding digital training drop-in sessions for customers
- In person training support for key customers
- Booking preventative maintenance with customers Onsite technical emergency support

**About you
You’ll come from a coffee background and ideally have experience in multiple areas of the industry - from technician to trainer, sales or customer service. You’ll know your way around a coffee machine and be able to deliver service and support that elevates our product offering. You’ll be confident, proactive and driven, happy travelling on the road as a Brand ambassador and be able to seamlessly move between both businesses. You will have:

- Extensive Barista training experience
- Account management experience
- Excellent technical skills and the ability to deliver exceptional phone service ( trouble shooting machine issues)
- Extensive coffee knowledge and experience in multiple areas of a coffee business
- Impeccable communication skills and be confident being part of a virtual team - you’ll be on the road a lot and confident being the regional representative for the brand. Sales experience would be advantageous
