**About the team**:
Commercial is a large but close-knit group. We bring diversity of thought, backgrounds and experience to every business unit at Coles Supermarkets, Liquor and Express. **About the role**:
Take ownership of our strategic supplier management and play a key part in transforming supplier performance. This full-time role will give you the opportunity to use your background in retail merchandising, FMCG sales or procurement to make a real difference to our commercial strategy.

You will also:

- Develop strategic and analytical financial modelling to unlock business insights and opportunities across the Merchandise Buying organisation.
- Lead trade planning negotiations in partnership with the Commercial Cost and Value team
- Lead Supplier Management and Joint Business Planning workshops
- Work closely with the Data Product Owner to input supplier metrics analytics into our Supplier Performance Central platform
- Drive and grow supplier engagement within the Coles Supplier base

**About you and your skills**:
You will have:

- Experience in Retail and/or FMCG experience, particularly in category management, sales or supplier management
- Demonstrated history of identifying commercially feasible and innovative solutions to problems
- Experience in using technology, data and analytics to solve problems
- Experience in leading large teams and transient consulting workforce
- Strong problem-solving skills with strategic mindset, structured thinking, and approach
