**About the Role**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Accurately read job sheets and measure materials to the millimetre
- Cut fabrics, tubes, and bottom rails using manual or automated equipment
- Assemble roller blinds including installation of chains, brackets, pin ends, and bottom weights
- Tension and test blinds to ensure smooth operation and quality finish
- Trim, weld or hem fabrics as required
- Inspect finished products for flaws, alignment, and tolerances
- Package and label blinds ready for dispatch
- Maintain clean and calibrated tools and workspaces
- Follow workplace safety and handling procedures

**Skills & Experience**
- Previous experience in blind manufacturing or assembly (minimum 1 year preferred)
- Familiarity with a variety of blind types: roller, vertical, Venetian, Roman, panel, etc.
- Confident using hand tools, cutting tables, and saws
- High attention to detail and ability to work to tight measurements
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong work ethic and reliability

**Desirable**
- Experience with ultrasonic or heat-cutting tools
- Understanding of production batch tracking or job docket systems
- Forklift license (not essential but a bonus)

Pay: $24.59 - $37.21 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week

- Cranbourne West VIC 3977: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Blinds Manufacturing: 1 year (preferred)
