We have an amazing leadership role based in our Goodna Queensland Office (with travel to other offices when required)

This role is pivotal in leading a team & being responsible for ensuring the effective operation of the program as well as fostering a supportive environment for all staff.
The Team Leader will support the operational delivery of business outcomes and improvement for Queensland Services including supervising 7 staff within the QLD General Foster and Kinship care program. The incumbent will contribute to the focus on identifying and addressing opportunities for improvement informed through business analysis; represent the QLD Services programs and its teams with internal and external stakeholders in line with OzChild culture and behaviours.

**Essential requirements**:

- A sector related bachelor’s degree qualification
- Significant relevant organisational leadership and operational management experience.
- Post graduate qualification would be highly regarded

**Experience**:

- A strong background effectively managing a team with Minimum 2 years experience in a leadership role
- Experience in managing the operations of multiple programs
- Strong analytical skills supported by sold professional judgement
- Experience in engaging and managing stakeholders
- Direct involvement working with organisation wide strategy
- Directing and contributing to policy, process and system reviews
- Involvement in the delivery or understanding of evidence-based programs or therapeutic models of intervention
- Direct involvement in implementing new programs in a community services setting
- Highly developed skills in change management & negotiation
- High level written and verbal communication and can manage conflict resolution and complaints effectively

- Salary packaging $15,900 plus the ability to salary package also meals & entertainment of $2,650
