Warehouse Supervisor

About the role**:WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR**

The purpose of the role is to directly manage and implement the required warehousing and dispatch functions of the business in an efficient and effective manner. The role is responsible for receipt, storage and dispatch of all goods including raw ingredients, packaging and finished product. As required this role will place orders with approved suppliers. The role directly manages required paperwork, coordinates delivery time slots and is the designated operator in regards to fork lift operations.
- Hours of work will be from 6am to 3pm - Monday to Friday (38 hours per week)
- Use of forklift - high reach / counterbalance
- Ensuring accurate input in to the Warehouse Management System
- Managing a small team of Warehouse Staff
- Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places
- Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment
- Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
- Transport raw materials to production workstations
- Ensure that machinery is regularly inspected to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance
- Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs
- Comply with company policies and legal guidelines

**Skills & experience**:

- Valid forklift license
- Expereince managing a small team
- Proven experience on a forklift including high reach
- Physically fit and able to do manual duties
- Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19
- Must have valid driving license & reliable transport
- Self-motivated, proactive and work independently as well as part of a team

**Salary**: $80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Team management: 1 year (preferred)
- High Reach/Counter Balance: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (required)
- COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
