Prince of Wales Private Hospital is seeking a number of Wardsperson's to join our dynamic team on a casual basis.

As a Wardsperson you will be deployed across a 24/7 range of shifts throughout the hospital to provide non-clinical support to the nursing team including: patient lifting; patient transportation; restock supplies; collection & delivery of equipment & specimens.

**As an Wardsperson your responsibilities will include**:

- Safe transfer of patients to and from the operating theatre
- Provide safe effective patient handling and positioning.
- Maintaining a safe patient environment including the setup and cleaning of theatres during procedures
- Providing support to the nursing staff

**Essential Criteria**:

- Authority to Work in Australia
- Prior experience in a hospital environment
- Prior experience in a similar role will be highly reagrded
- Certificate III in Health Support Services or equivalent (desirable)
- Hold a valid Working with Children check
- Commitment to service excellence
- Ability to prioritise and organise work, with mínimal supervision
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- High level attention to detail
- Able to work a 7- day rotating roster including Night shifts.
