The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Wardsperson (Medical Imaging Assistant) to join our growing and amazing team in our Mater Clinic in North Sydney.
Your role will be to provide high quality, accurate and efficient medical imaging assistance and services to the clinic that maximises clinic efficiency and staff productivity, whilst ensuring an absolute commitment to the delivery of professional, caring and friendly services to patients, referrers and customers, and achieving quality, cost and productivity targets for the business.
This is a permanent part-time role reporting directly to the Chief Technologist.
Some of your responsibilities will include and are not limited to:
- Perform and assist with patient movement in the Medical Imaging service area, and the hospital when required
- Assist with general clinic tasks and other patients of the department in any manner as directed by technical/clerical/medical staff
- Ensure Workplace Health and Safety legislation is complied with
- Providing excellent customer service and patient care
- Maintaining strong working relationships with patients, referrers, staff and managers

Your communication skills will be strong and high-quality patient-centred care will sit at the heart of all that you do.
