**What will you do?**

At Ryman, sales isn't about deals, it's about delighting our prospects.

Operating from display apartments onsite at **Raelene Boyle Village, Aberfeldie** and **Essendon Terrace, Essendon** the successful applicant will build and refine a database of potential clients. You will be involved with setting and operating sales events, functions and sponsorships with a view to create a sales pipeline and referral network. Nurturing these clients through the construction process and ultimately moving them into their new home, will be the journey the applicant will navigate with their clients.

This role reports to the General Manager Sales. We have a full time Sales Advisor position available working 5 days a week then some weekends for special events to show people through the village, host open days and support our community sponsorships.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Achievement of agreed sales targets of new and resale home
- Establishing yourself at the heart of the local community, building relationships and networks with potential prospects
- Build rapport with our potential residents and understanding their needs
- Help prospective residents and families, realise Ryman as the best decision
- Arrange and coordinate functions and events
- Manage the surrender and refurbishment process

**Who are you?**
- We are looking for a proven talent in community engagement and sales - who will put the best interests of our potential residents, and their families at the heart of all they do.
- You could be a media sales professional looking for a meaningful next step, or you might have a pharmaceutical sales background and be ready to sink your teeth into something new
- You don't need to know all about retirement living - but you must have an affinity with older people
- You will also need be a self-starter, have attention to detail, be able to nurture and track leads and manage paperwork professionally.
- You embrace new technology and are able to use a customer database management system (full training will be provided)
