Mercury Glass is a leading independent glass processing manufacturer located at Acacia Ridge in Brisbane.
We currently have opportunities for reliable labourers to join our production team.
Vacancies are currently available on 2 shifts in the Cutting, Furnace and Processing areas. **Please specify your shift preference with your cover letter & CV**
Experience in the glass industry, building products or other manufacturing equivalent would be preferred, but is not essential.
- Your job responsibilities will involve machine operation, general process work and manual handling of glass.
- The position will be initially casual with a view to a permanent placement after completing the probationary period.
- Have a strong safety ethic
- Be physically fit and must enjoy a physical role
- Have a good level of attention to detail
- Be able to work in a team environment
- Be able to thrive in a fast paced work environment
- Have good communication skills, able to read and write clearly
- Have a positive ‘can do’ and want to work attitude
You will be working with a supportive team in a business that values its people.

**Salary**: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Morning shift
Supplemental pay types:
- Overtime pay

- Acacia Ridge, QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Manufacturing: 2 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driver Licence (preferred)

- Australia (preferred)
