**To be successful you will need**:

- A PhD in botany/plant biology, or related field with a focus on native flora and/or invasive plant species and their impact on native ecosystems.
- A demonstrated track record of research excellence in plant biology as evidenced by publications in highly regarded peer-reviewed scientific journals
- A demonstrated track record in securing research grant funding.
- A demonstrated track record of teaching excellence in plant biology in a variety of face-to-face and/or hybrid and online modes to actively engage and educate undergraduate students to ensure student success.
- Experience in research supervision including Honours and Higher Degree by Research Students.
