The role of the **Strategic Sourcing Manager - Labour Hire & Contractor Services** is to develop and execute best in class procurement processes to drive effective sourcing strategies and contract management aligned with the Opal Group strategic priorities and business needs.

You will contribute to the success of Opal by:

- Conduct strategic sourcing projects and negotiations for assigned categories.
- Lead RFI and RFP processes
- Manage supply base and stakeholders of existing agreements.
- Develop best in class preferred supplier shortlists for assigned categories.
- Manage spend compliance and leakage reporting.
- Lead the data collection efforts to understand and document current processes for labour hire and independent contractor engagement across Opal’s business units.
- Analyse and evaluate existing processes, identifying gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring the project stays on track and within scope.

Specifically for this role, we expect you will have;
- Degree or diploma in Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain Management
- Extensive experience in procurement and supply chain
- Managed significant category more than $80M
- Strategic sourcing methodology, procurement concepts and processes
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
- Previous experience utilising SAP Ariba desirable
