**About The Role**:
This position focuses on teaching and learning in the field of Fine Art Open Universities Australia (OUA). The lecturer is responsible for maintaining and enhancing scholarly activities related to this discipline. They should have a strong commitment to high-quality teaching and be able to integrate research, scholarship, and professional practice into their teaching. The lecturer should also demonstrate leadership in teaching and service, and have a good understanding of Fine Art. They may also be responsible for supervising other staff members. The workload will consist of Major Coordination (Fine Art OUA), Undergraduate Certificate Coordination (Fine Art), Unit Coordination and teaching of Fine Art OUA units.
**Essential Criteria**
- ALA does not require a PhD qualification.
- A doctoral qualification in relevant discipline (ALB)
- Proven high-level teaching skills with a demonstrated reflective and collaborative approach to teaching and an up-to-date knowledge of contemporary schools
- Experience in curriculum development and unit/course coordination
- Demonstrated high-level communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to foster the development of a collegial and supportive working environment and the ability to interact with students, staff and the educational community with cross-cultural sensitivity
- Educational qualification with a demonstrated background and/or experience in the relevant curriculum/discipline(s) specified.
**As this is a continuing (permanent) role, you will require permanent work rights in Australia. Sponsorship is not provided for this position.**
