Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), our Head of IT is responsible for defining and executing Adbri's technology strategy. Focused on refreshing the technology roadmap and driving an intentional and proactive path forward using project management excellence.
This role is based in Adelaide.
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide leadership and vision to the IT group and influential partnership enterprise wide. Lead with authenticity and inspire a culture of inclusion, accountability, and high performance.
- Redefine Adbri's IT roadmap and enterprise architecture to align with current and future business requirements.
- Oversee the portfolio of technology projects, ensuring adherence to cost, scope, and schedule constraints.
- Advise on, influence and establish a comprehensive framework of security controls and security management strategies.
- Drive process re-engineering and continuous improvement initiatives within the IT operating model. Develop, implement, report and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Create decision-making frameworks and implement organisation-wide processes for risk management.
- Drive innovation in core business operations by recommending and implementing viable technologies.
- Provide expert advice on major upgrades, product and service procurement and contract execution.
**Requirements**:
- Extensive experience in business solutions leadership.
- Skilled in articulating and presenting the business value of technology solutions, aligning them with Company strategy influencing skills engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity and ongoing threats.
- Track record of leading teams in delivering complex, high-risk projects with adherence to standard processes.
- Proven ability to exercise judgment and initiative in problem resolution.
- Professional development focus with up to date knowledge of industry movements
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, information technology, or a related field. MBA qualification well-regarded.
- Corporate Governance training/qualification is desirable.
