**Your new company**
This Federal Government Agency has taken a lead in supporting Australia to respond to and recover from large scale disasters. Currently they are seeking a dynamic, experienced and motivated individual to support the evaluation of a number of programs and initiatives.

**Your new role**
The role provides you the opportunity to establish and implement a robust monitoring, evaluation and learning agenda, so that the Agency’s policy and programs are best tailored to meet the needs of those it supports. Within this capacity your responsibilities may include:

- Designing and managing independent evaluation activities, including: procurement of external service providers; assessment of tenders; and managing contracts as required.
- Facilitating internal evaluation activities including thematic evaluations, case studies and learning events
- Providing proactive and structured support across the Agency to improve consistency of evaluation activities, reporting and accountability.
- Drafting advice to Executives, Ministers and external Agencies
- Building and maintaining effective working relationships with stakeholders

**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful in this position you will be able to demonstrate:

- Experience across monitoring, evaluation and learning systems including methodologies, tools, data collection, analysis and reporting
- Understanding of government processes and broader operating landscape
- Ability to manage relationships with all levels of stakeholders both internal and external
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to make evidence-based decisions and undertake complex problem solving
