**Position summary**

Initially this position will focus on the commissioning, qualification and preparation of new QC laboratories to ensure timely GMP certification of the laboratory site. As the laboratory site becomes operational, this position will take on responsibility for Immunology and Chemical test operations including method validation and laboratory compliance.

**Key Accountabilities**

Support QC Manager with commissioning, qualification and preparation of new QC laboratories

Support the test method transfers for the products for GMP certificate.

**Continuous Supply**
- Testing of manufacturing materials to schedule
- Immunology & Chemical Testing of product samples and raw materials
- Preparation of Standards and Controls
- QC laboratory sample management
- Stock control of Standards and Controls
- Data entry into ZLIMs
- Method transfer to and from the laboratory site

**Quality and Compliance**
- Ensure testing is assessed against specifications
- QC method validation and maintenance
- Ensure OOS/OOT/OOE are reported and investigated.
- Ensure analytical equipment is qualified and maintained
- Laboratory compliance (QSS, equipment calibration & qualification, QC IT tool & automation system validation)
- Maintaining up to date laboratory records for all testing, analytical work and investigations performed.

**EHS**
- Support EHS Department to create and maintain safe, healthy and environment-friendly working mode in QC Department and ensure that all employees are properly trained.

**Operational Excellence**
- Support Quality Control Manager to achieve each of the GMS KPIs aligned with the Zoetis values and leadership competencies.

**Education and experience**
- Bachelor of Science or equivalent with majors in Microbiology, Immunology or Biotechnology
- Previous experience in a QC laboratory
