Our restaurant ‘Half Acre’ is a sanctuary inside city life. A curated garden eatery for people to connect with friends and family, or professionals alike. Located in South Melbourne on the grounds of the Old Mill, our 120-seat restaurant provides a unique indoor/outdoor environment, highlighting a wood-fired oven, charcoal grill and open kitchen. Our food is plated simply, yet with elegance. Our eating style is casual and communal, using world flavours without being totally defined.

Our service creates a space where locals feel at home and newcomers feel like locals. This environment is crafted by our front of house team, starting with you. Half Acre are looking for passionate, creative and fun-loving part-time front of house employees who want to be part of something spectacular. Your energy and love for what you do is your morning motivation, consistently delivering service excellence for guests.

**We’d love you to have -**
- Previous Bar experience, preferably in a restaurant
- Positive attitude and amazing communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-based environment
- Organisational and time management skills second to none
- Flexibility to work nights and weekends
- Personal presentation that is on-point

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: From $30.10 per hour

Schedule:

- Rotating roster
- Shift work
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

- South Melbourne, VIC 3205: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
