We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated and customer-focused **Receptionist / Registration Clerk** to be the welcoming face of our Batemans Bay Dealership.

The Receptionist/Registration Clerk will be the first point of contact for customers and responsible for greeting visitors, answering phones and managing the front desk. They will maintain a welcoming atmosphere, facilitate communication and handle administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.

The Reception/Registration Clerk will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of stock levels, ensuring efficient registration and processing of items, and performing basic administrative duties to support daily operations. This role requires a highly organised individual with strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Reception/Administration Duties:

- Greet and assist customers with a warm, professional demeanor.
- Answer incoming calls promptly and direct them to the appropriate department or team member.
- Schedule and confirm appointments for sales and service departments.
- Manage the reception area, including maintaining a clean and organised environment.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues with empathy and efficiency.
- Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, filing and maintaining customer records.
- Administrative support required by management
- Handle basic accounts payable and receivable tasks.
- Assist with invoicing, reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Assist with general office duties, including filing, data entry, and documentation management
- Assist the sales team with coordination of delivery of vehicles

Registration Clerk Duties:

- Manage and process vehicle registrations, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and on time
- Liaise with relevant authorities to maintain compliance with registration requirements

Stock Control Duties:

- Maintain accurate records of inventory and stock levels.
- Assist in stocktaking and ensure the database is up to date.
- Source vehicles and report to the manufacturers in a timely manner.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within the automotive industry
- Previous experience in stock control, registration, or basic administrative roles is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle registration processes and compliance
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
