**The Opportunity**

Our client is a community focused federal government agency. They have an exciting opportunity for Multiple
**Technical Advisors** from the following backgrounds:

- **Occupational Therapy**
- **Specialist Behavioural Support Practitioners**

Based in
**Richmond** or
**Geelong** at an APS6 level, initial approval for 12 months from initial employment, with the potential to extend, paying an hourly rate of $58.50 + Super.

The client is offering 37.5 hour working weeks, with
**2 days working from home**, and the remainder on site, with a consistent starting and finishing time. The client is offering a work environment that is community focused and provides a

**The Role**

The APS6 Technical Advisory is a team membership position within the Agency and will have delegated authority and responsibility to resolve issues and risks across a range of activities. It will provide detailed technical, policy and operational support in relation to complex problems.

**Responsibilities**
- Managing complex and sensitive conversations and situations associated with approval of funding.
- Liaising and working with stakeholders, delegates, partners and providers to ensure consistent decision making and outcome achievement.
- Supporting Agency staff conducting internal and Administrative Appeals Tribunal review of decisions.
- Providing high quality written and telephone advice and record keeping.

**Requirements**:

- Must be eligible to be registered with the appropriate registration body or have attained the appropriate certification level as required by the professional association where there is no registration requirement.
- Please note, that to be considered as qualified, relevant qualifications or significant experience is essential
