The Fulton Hogan National Airports team are expanding and have created a new position of Airside Compliance Manager to oversee Airport/Airside specific safety & compliance initiatives. Our National Airports undertake a variety of projects across a range of airstrips/ports both big and small. Role responsibilities
The Airside Compliance Manager is responsible for developing and managing FH systems and training to ensure that our airports delivery teams maintain an up-to-date level of awareness and understanding of the safe and compliant requirements of operating airside. Responsibilities include:
- Develop and Maintain systems for engagement of Work Safety Officers including:
- establishing adequate and appropriate training and qualification levels
- service level agreements
- key deliverables.
- Audit and assess WSO service providers systems.
- Audit and assess WSO service providers level of service in the field and competency of WSO and ARO’s.
- Provide input into standard processes for tendering and project delivery with a focus on introducing process steps to ensure key airside awareness protocols are implemented during tendering, planning and delivery phases.

Qualifications:
- Airside Work Safety Officer Level 4
- AVISS00053 Aerodrome Reporting Officer
- AVISS00055 Aerodrome Works Safety Officer
- AVI30119 Certificate III in Aviation Aerodrome Operations
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in operating in an airside environment at towered Aerodromes and Airports of varying sizes, with both Civil and Defence experience preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of MOS139 Standards and DASR139.
- Working with contractors delivering works airside.
- Ability to multitask, oversight of up to 5 projects at any given time
- Working with aerodrome management.
- Prior experience dealing with CASA and Airservices.
