This single-sex school has campuses for students between Kindergarten and Year 12, and is amongst Sydney's highest performing schools. There is currently a rare and exciting opportunity on offer for an experienced Psychologist to step in to a Head of Counselling position.

**Your new role**

In the Head of Counselling position, you will join the current Counselling team to oversee and work alongside two junior Psychologists on a permanent full-time basis. The role will involve supporting students through their difficulties by conducting relevant assessments and providing general counselling. You will also work closely with parents and staff regarding students experiencing psychological, emotional, social or behavioural difficulties.

**What you'll need to succeed**

To succeed in this role, you will need:

- Tertiary qualifications in Psychology
- Registration with AHPRA
- Experience in a leadership position
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High standard of ethical practice when working with students, their families, and staff alike

**What you'll get in return**

In return for your hard work, you will be rewarded with a competitive base salary ranging between $120k and $150k, depending on experience and qualifications. You will also be entitled to 6 weeks of annual leave, working term time and on call for non-term time.
