HR Business Partner

Reporting to the HR Manager ANZ this position will be responsible for delivering the HR function for the Aviagen Australia business across multiple farming sites in NSW. This position will lead ongoing efforts to strengthen our organisational capability and develop a highly motivated capable workforce that is committed to the organisation's strategic plan and workplace values.

This position will deliver contemporary HR advice and ensure implementation of best practice initiatives. The position requires active engagement with managers and the wider workforce to support and promote an open and inclusive organisational culture.

As a person you would be described as someone who is self-driven, a savvy HR professional and someone who is capable of juggling numerous deliverables at any one time.

**Your main responsibilities will include**:

- Oversee the recruitment process from end to end for our Australian business entities
- Ensure the delivery of HR advice, support & activities operate within approved systems, processes, and legislation
- Visit on a regular basis the various farm locations across NSW to provide visual & accessible support to the management team & broader workforce.
- Provide advice for matters linked to the Aviagen Australia payroll and HR systems /service providers (EPG, Workday)
- Ensure accuracy of documentation and deadlines are achieved for provision of information to managers
- Develop, coach and support leaders on Leading Performance
- Provide advice on performance management issues, disciplinary issues, termination, and employee grievance.
- Lead initiatives to improve recent employee survey metrics
- Undertake continuous personal development to stay up to date with legislation and best practice within the areas of HR/IR/Workforce retention, culture & engagement in the areas of HR/IR/WHS
- Minimum 4 years' experience in Human Resources generalist position in a blue-collar workforce environment
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related discipline
- Extensive experience in end-to-end recruitment processes, onboarding,
- Ability to interrupt legislation, regulations, and awards together with policies and procedures
- Capability to handle multiple complex situations simultaneously and a demonstrated record in positively influencing key stakeholders to achieve objectives.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, time, and task management skills.
- Confidence, maturity, and the ability to make sound ethical judgments
- Strong attention to detail & demonstrates ‘think on your feet’ problem solving skills
- Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality
- A current driver’s licence.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Extensive understanding of the Fair Work Act
- Strong interpersonal skills & emotional intelligence including the ability to communicate and influence leaders.
- Well organised and confident in handling a substantial workload and competing priorities
- Demonstrated experience in project delivery, change management and grievance resolution

**Salary**: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
