_A leading and well respected engineering company located in the South East of Melbourne requires a Specialist Metal Fabricator_
- Duties and required Skills for this position include:_
- _Trade Qualified Boilermaker-Welder and 10 years relevant experience or_
- _At least 8 years relevant experience_
- _Minimum 5 years supervisory experience of 5 or more employees_
- _Ability to read engineering drawings, blueprints and specification for job requirements_
- _Use of machinery and hand tools to cut, measure, weld and shape as required_
- _Fabricate structural steel items and other metal stock according to job requirements_
- _Must be a team player working with Welders, Machine Operators in a busy and varied engineering workshop_
- _Excellent verbal and written communication skills_
- _First-off setting up_
- _Quality Inspections of finished items according to jobs specifications_
- _Design and modify tooling, jigs & fixtures_
- _Development of methodology for producing production orders_
- _medium ‘build to print’ engineering and fabrication workshops excellent_
- _communication skills and the ability to get the job done ‘in full, on time_
- _and on budget’ are crucial in this role. You will be able to demonstrate a_
