**About the Role**

As we step into an exciting growth phase, we are on the hunt for a Store Supervisor.

This is a rare opportunity to work in our innovative Chadstone store, as well as having the opportunity for career progression as we open further stores over the next six months.

The Store Supervisor will work closely with our Store Manager to assist with the smooth running of our store, engagement with customers and training of new staff.

We provide full training for someone with some hospitality or retail experience wanting to take a step up or you could be a hospo veteran wanting to take a step back and regain some work/life balance.

**Remuneration**
- $62,150 base Salary + Superannuation
- Travel allowance of $20 p/w
- ** Total Compensation package of $69,509**

**About You**
- 2-3 years’ leadership experience in hospitality or retail, **or you could be a hospitality professional ready to take the next step**:

- A talent for mentoring others - you love to lead by example
- Passionate about the customer experience and product quality
- Ability to connect with customers and provide an exceptional customer experience in a fast-paced environment
- Problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Demonstrated capability to multi-task - your organizational skills will be a strength
- Motivated and positive team player
- Strong communication skills
- Authentic and down to earth with a genuine love of people
- Love of cake a bonus

**About the Business**

Black Star Pastry opened its first boutique patisserie in Newtown in 2008 and since then we have grown into an institution with stores across Sydney, Melbourne’s iconic Prince of Wales precinct in St Kilda, and of course our innovative new store at Chadstone.

We are most famous for our Strawberry Watermelon Cake which has become a social media sensation, with the New York Times declaring it “the world’s most instagrammed cake.”
